End of Days Intermission Everything was a haze of color and light, spinning around in circles. As the world began to straighten out for Alexis, she noticed that she was leaned up against a bookcase, papers scattered about on the floor. Half asleep, she looked around the room. There were shelves stacked to the ceiling crammed with books bound in leather, wood, and strange materials that even she didn't want to know what they were. There were novels packed into every possible space, and even on the ceiling books were crammed tightly together to defy gravity's pull.
