Special abilities:

Calcite Crystals - Her skin is covered in a thin layer of calcite crystals, which functions as an armor and makes up a unique visual system. They can can detect the direction of incoming light, and filters and focuses the light into an underlying photoreceptor system, and sends the information to the nervous system. This basically allows her to see in any direction, though it isn't as crisp as our normal vision. It also functions as camouflage, able to direct light in a means to hide in plain sight.

Psionics - She is an accomplished psychic with telepathic and telekinetic abilities, though doesn't use them on students unless they pose a deadly threat to themselves or others. Enemies or Erasers though.... don't receive any mercy. She generally can lift as much as she could physically lift, and distance and weight are a factor in her stamina. If she actually is confronted with another psychic, it will be up to who is more capable as to who can win out.

Weakness:

She may be seen mumbling to herself, or experiencing personality shifts, due to her psychic abilities coupled with the stresses of years of testing and invasive mental proceedings.... She's not always as mentally stable as she tries to seem, and may not be able to hide it from the students or staff as much as she'd like. This is basically more on the lines of eccentric/quirky than anything else, not to worry ^_^

She will try to avoid too much visual stimuli if she can, otherwise she may get an overload of information. She also tries to avoid too many people in an attempt to remove herself from psychic noise, as too many minds rushing at once can cause her to get dizzy or disoriented. She wears layers of clothes to focus her seeing ability, as human brains aren't meant to take on too much visual information at once.

When she attempts to use her camouflage to hide, it takes all of her effort, and moving objects or sudden light can cause issues or cause her to drop the cover.

Personality: She seems like she’s tough as nails, unwilling to let anyone get past her, or tolerate any sort of foolishness. She has developed this though her years before and after her ‘not fun experience’, and it has helped her survive over the years. But don’t let this fool you, she does care, she just cares in her own way. She’s determined that every student who goes into her class comes out with an education, and if that means kicking them out of their hiding spot and into the classroom, that‘s what she’ll do. But if you’re a good student, you’ll see a more caring side to her. She’s willing to put in extra hours to privately tutor students, as well as do anything in her power to get them to succeed. She believes that everyone has the potential to be great, and in a school full of people as gifted as the Academy, she won’t cut anyone any slack.

History: The earliest memories of her life were on the street. Having no home of which to speak of, the girl roamed with various child gangs in the poorer parts of the cities. She honed the skills she learned on the streets during those years, becoming an accomplished thief and valued member of her gang of orphans.

As time went on, charities began popping up in the city she lived in. Offering warm beds, three meals a day, and an education, they brought in many children from the streets. Leery at first, the girl eventually joined with the dream of getting an education and getting out of the situation she was in. Unfortunately, the charity was a front, used to steal homeless children, as they were never missed from the streets.

Developing her psychic abilities, the scientists pushed her, trying to expand her abilities.... perhaps they pushed a little too much on her, as she was never quite right after that.

Sent to a government backed facility to be trained to be in a secret ops group, the girl was an excellent student, learning how to use her powers, martial arts, weapons, and the abilities grafted to her by the scientists. Going through years of mental conditioning, they deemed her a success, and was sent out on missions to capture or kill threats to her country.

Eventually though, the girl's broken mind was able to surface through the conditioning, and she immediately 'convinced' her handler to shoot himself, and escaped. Spending a few more years on the run, she eventually caught wind of an organization harboring unusual people, and went to offer her services. Expecting to teach tactics or help with developing psychics like herself, she noted the extreme lack of education almost the students. Deciding that this had to be taken care of first, she set out to make sure that every student at the academy could at least read and write, and more... if they would stop trying to skip class and listen to her.

Interesting Facts:

She can see in pretty much any direction that she wants, thus a teacher who literally has eyes in the back of her head.

She will be stubborn about class attendance and participation. Everyone WILL try their best, even if she has to have private sessions with each student to make them learn. She will track down anyone playing hookey, and will drag them back in pieces to her class.

Despite how brash she acts, she's actually very smart, knowing several languages and is skilled in various fields that her training demanded.

She was taught Krav Maga in the facility she was contained in, with the intention of being a part of a secret government group.

She does try to work for the students welfare.... she just gets frustrated when people don't want to do the work or skip out, as it feels like her work is for naught.

She's as tough as nails for the most part... but if you find that one thing that she REALLY likes.... you could probably get a bit of leniency....
